Ferdinand Adam

Adamovich (6 December 1802 in Vilnius, Li thuania - 12 maja1881 in Vilnius) - Polish veterinarian and medic ine, a historian of science. He was one of the pioneers of Polish surgeon and founder of Polish veterinary vocabulary. Son of Jose ph and Sophia with JocherĂłw. To high school in Vilnius, where he is also in the years 1818-1822 he studied the nature and medicine, obtaining the title of Ph.D. in 1824. med. Since 1822 he was assistant to Louis Henry Bojanusa, and since 1828, after serving an assistant professor of complementary studies.
